The Merrimack High School Quarterback Club is pleased to welcome all fans of high school football to the new Merrimack Football website. The QB Club is a non-profit organization made up of parents and friends of the Merrimack football players. It is the goal of the organization to show outward support for our players and to supplement the assistance and financing received from the high school in fielding a football team. As such, our support and assistance takes many forms. Possibly our greatest contribution is the countless hours put in by our volunteers to raise money, run the concession stand, announce and video the games, prepare the program, solicit advertisements from our sponsors seen here in our program and a host of other volunteer work. It is to these volunteers that the Merrimack Quarterback Club owes a tremendous debt of gratitude.
In addition to the volunteer work, our QB Club raises thousands of dollars to further support the team. This money is used to award a $1,000 scholarship to a player who will attend college, to subsidize the cost of lettermen jackets for any eligible player, to host a season-ending banquet complete with trophies, awards, a video of season highlights and to buy any additional equipment needed by the team. A major source of our revenue comes from sponsors who have kindly placed their advertisements in our game program. We would like to ask each of you to review our sponsors’ advertisements, and in the future, patronize these businesses whenever you find you are able to do so. These companies are the backbone of our QB Club, have repeatedly come to our aid when asked, and have demonstrated loyal support of our players, asking very little in return.
The quarterback Club hopes you enjoy the expectation effort being put forth by all the players, coaches, and managers on the field of play. It is the effort of our young athletes that makes the work of the QB Club and our volunteers worthwhile.
